Dr. Gopal is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Scheller College of Business, Georgia Tech. Her research interests lie in financial intermediation and corporate finance. She studies business lending in the U.S. with a special focus on the role of nonbanks in small business lending. Her research has been published in top journals such as the Review of Financial Studies and Management Science. She teaches a course on the Management of Financial Institutions at Scheller.
