Casper Worm Hansen is Professor of economics at the University of Copenhagen. His research focuses on determinants of the demographic transition in now-developed countries, and how these fundamental changes otherwise influenced the society. His work has been published in top economic journals, such as the Journal of Political Economy, the Review of Economic Studies, American Economic Review: Insights, American Economic Journal: Applied Economics, the Journal of the European Economic Association, the Economic Journal, and the Journal of Economic Growth.
