Áine Gallagher is a Lecturer in Finance and PhD candidate at Queen’s University Belfast. Her research focusses on themes of investment and governance with a historical lens. Major areas of focus have been overseas investment and the role of women as investors and active participants in corporate governance in the nineteenth century.
